Adverse possessions - 'Squatters rights' - Wednesday 27 July at 12:00 pm
Adverse possession or 'Squatter's rights' has three different regimes, with very different outcomes. Dates are vital to identify which one applies so you can tell the clients whether they have no chance or a good chance. This workshop will look at:
• Unregistered land
• Registered land under the transitional provisions
• Registered land under the new provisions
• What are the key factors to identify and prove in each case - the recent developments in case law
• If successful - what do you get?
• If unsuccessful - do you have a second chance?
