An Introduction to the Court of Protection for Private Client Practitioners - Thursday 14 July at 12:00 pm

Mental capacity work is now commonplace in private client practices and it is likely that practitioners will find themselves in a situation where they must consider Court of Protection applications, including the appointment of deputies for property and financial affairs and health and welfare. The rules for making these applications are ever changing and this can cause problems for anyone who does not regularly access the Court.

This webinar is designed to introduce you to the court process for the appointment of a deputy or deputies, and the information needed for making the application.

The webinar will cover:

When the Court of Protection is required
The forms necessary for making an application
The Court of Protection application process
What happens after a deputy is appointed
