Conveyancing CPD: When Should Conveyancers Serve a Notice to Complete?

When Should Conveyancers Serve a Notice to Complete? - Wednesday 27 April at 2:00 pm

Many conveyancers do not often have to consider what happens in a transaction if something goes wrong and the matter fails to complete. Conveyancers will inevitably face issues of default and we may have to face a matter that has not completed. It is therefore all the more crucial to ensure that we are clear as to the steps we have to take if the matter does go wrong and that we are able to draft a valid notice to complete in the pressure situation of a failed completion.

This webinar, hosted by Lorraine Richardson M.A., will cover:

What are the immediate consequences if a conveyancing transaction fails to complete?
What do the Standard Conditions of Sale (5th Edition – 2018 revision) say?
What steps should the conveyancer take?
What should a Notice to Complete contain?
What if a lender is involved?
