Judicial Development Programme

The Judicial Development Programme has been developed by CILEX to support our members who wish to learn more about applying for Judicial Appointment and Coronial Office.

This intensive training will focus on tailoring your submission to make a positive impact in the competency-based application and selection process.

You will receive practical advice on completing the application form, incorporating your experiences and invaluable interview practice with feedback.

Learning Outcomes:

• Be able to effectively complete the JAC/local authority competency-based application form
• Maximise the use of independent assessor/referee input
• Anticipate questions for both the telephone and face to face interviews and practice responding successfully
• Access expertise from an ex JAC independent/lay assessor
• Leave with an action plan to prepare for the next competition/vacancy

Should you reserve a place on the programme and later need to cancel we shall grant a full refund if cancelled 4 weeks prior to the date of the training course. Any places cancelled within 2 weeks of the training course will not be refunded. Should CILEX need to cancel or delay the programme a full refund shall be given unless the reason for cancellation is outside the control of CILEX.
